Hey everyone!

You may have seen us mention this on Twitter or Facebook, but we recently stopped by the offices of Double Fine (unannounced, no less) and dropped off a custom-made Woah Dave! arcade cabinet. Being the intelligent folks we are, we decided to film the entire event and put it on the Internet. Feast thine eyes:

We want to thank Double Fine for being so awesome about all of this. We showed up at their office in the middle of a work day and they couldn't have been nicer about it. They're good people.

Dave, Woah!

Holy smokes, everybody. It’s only been a few months since we announced Woah Dave!, and we're already overwhelmed by the positive reception the game has been getting. The kind Tweets, Facebook posts, YouTube comments, et. al mean a lot to us, and I think it’s fair to say that you’re all the wind beneath our game-developing wings. Thank you for that.

We also had the opportunity to show the game off at PAX East, where the reception was equally as positive. People seemed to really like our silly little 2D arcade game, and we even won a “Best of Megabooth” award from Press Pause Radio. It was awesome!

Since people are so excited about the game, I figured it might be a good idea to offer a progress update (because I care, dammit). At this point in time, our focus is on porting the game to a bunch of different platforms. If you haven’t seen any of the announcements, we’ve thus far confirmed that the game will be making its way to 3DS, Vita, iOS, Android, Steam, and OUYA. Which isn’t to say it won’t be releasing on other platforms! That remains to be seen, but it’s something we’re actively looking into. If there's any other platform you'd like to see the game on, let us know!

We’re also hard at work on determining a release date for the game. Although we haven’t figured out an exact date yet, I can tell you that it will definitely be soon. Possibly even this summer!

If you’d like to stay in the loop about all things Dave, be sure to follow the man himself on Twitter! Also, bask in the glory of this gameplay video:
